Stamford

To those of you who come from Stamford or frequent the town the scene depicted on our logo will be a familiar one.

The Stamford skyline is dominated by it's churches. One of the biggest and one that is nearest to the Mid Lent Fair is All Saints, so it is fitting that it should appear on our logo.

Behind it is Farrells Big Wheel, again dominating the skyline and looking most impressive at night, beckoning all to the fair. Viewed from St Peters Hill the Church and the Big Wheel are seen very much as they appear on our logo.

Sadly the big wheel no longer comes to Stamford Fair, but it is still talked about with much affection by Stamfordians.
